# Show your screen on a device

Simple drawn frames for a phone, a tablet, a laptop and a monitor. No brand artwork, nothing uploaded, ready for a slide or a store page.

## Making a clean mockup

Start with a screenshot taken on the kind of device you want to show: a phone capture on the phone, a desktop capture on the laptop or monitor. The screen keeps the device's own proportions (about 9:19.5 for the phone, 3:4 for the tablet, 16:10 for the laptop and 16:9 for the monitor), so a matching screenshot fills it with nothing cut off.

- **Fill the screen** covers the whole screen and trims what does not fit. For a long, scrolling capture, set *Keep* to *Top / left* so the start of the page stays in view.
- **Show it all** fits the entire image inside the screen and fills the gaps with black, white or linen.
- **Finish** changes the body colour; the bezel stays dark glass, as on most real screens.
- **Orientation** turns the phone or tablet on its side for landscape apps, games and video.

The screen is drawn at your screenshot's own resolution (up to 2600 px across), so text stays sharp. For a store listing or a slide, pick a transparent background and save as PNG to place the device on any layout, or choose a paint chip for a finished image.

The frames are deliberately plain shapes drawn for this site. They suggest a device without copying any manufacturer's product or trademark, which also keeps the focus on your design.

## Questions

**Can I use these mockups commercially?**

The frames are generic shapes drawn by this page, with no logos or product designs in them, and the image you make is yours. Check that you have the right to use whatever is in your own screenshot.

**Why is part of my screenshot cut off?**

Fill the screen crops the image to the screen's shape. Choose Show it all to see the whole image, or pick which part to keep with the Keep menu.

**How large is the exported image?**

The screen matches your screenshot's pixels, up to 2600 px on its longer side, plus the frame and padding. The size is shown above the Download button, and the Scale menu halves or doubles it.
